The first of the Photoshopped spectaculars, created for my husband in homage of a poster he found in Cairo with a similar disregard for proportion or scale. That's us on the roof. But that's not our real house.

The Gift that Keeps Giving
With the warm weather, gnats have sprung out of the cat grass! They're especially intent on drowning themselves in the cat fountain. (Note the small black specks in the water near Louie to the right of the blue basket.)
The gnats are horrible. They fly at my face when I'm working. They sit on knives when I'm cutting bananas or cheese. I was worried they might be cheese flies--that they're not is pretty much the only good part. They're too small and fast to catch, but Louie still watches them instead of eating. He's losing weight.
Strombeek is eating his food too and getting even fatter.
She is becoming Mega-cat! The gnats are her tiny winged minions.
