Strombeek and the Ch'ou-t'i

In Jorge Luis Borge's The Book of Imaginary Beings there is a creature referred to as the Ch'ou-t'i  "which has a head on both ends of its body." Nothing more about it is said. Wikipedia doesn't even have an entry! And Strombeek has found one in her very own living room.

Strombeek cannot conceive of such an anatomical configuration. It's unnatural!

She refuses to associate herself with such beings! And she isn't sure exactly how, but this must explain the creature's slim waistline.

(She knocked it off the couch shortly after this photo was taken.)
