Gettysburg

Strombeek & Louie didn't get to accompany us on our day trip to Gettysburg, PA this weekend, but this is something along the lines of what they imagine the battlefield would be like.

I only realized later that perhaps Louie should have been ol' Honest Abe since he's taller and gaunter. However, when there's a power role to be had, (Uncle Sam, Marie Antoinette) Strombeek gets it. When Louie got to be a fellow groundhog handler on the original Groundhog Day extravaganza photo (with the chicken hats) he just looked a little scared. That's not an expression one hopes to see on a handler. I think Louie would be much more excited about shooting a cannon than she would, anyway. And Libby, their cousin on back-up cannon, would be excited to chase the words from the Gettysburg Address like she does bees and butterflies.

Strombeek is the bigger talker too. Louie would sound like a choirboy attempting to deliver a speech, and everyone would laugh at him.
