Litter and the Environment*

*Note: The name of the original post was "Flushing Poop and Killing Otters."  I changed it due to Japanese spammers. My hypothesis is that the Spam is because of the word "Poop." **

**"Killing Otters" also invites the Spam, so I will try adjusting the title again. Of course, it likely has nothing to do with the title.

We compost, we recycle. Most of our garbage now is made up of cat litter. If we could only find another way to dispose of it, we'd reduce our carbon footprint/pawprint enormously.
