This was a picture that I took in San Pedro last year. Pelicans kept swooping back and forth in squadrons, and I was eager to capture that. When trying to decide which of the pelican picts to choose, this one seemed to have the perfect amount of space to add something. Arthur suggested that something be a Spitfire. I'm not sure why I chose April now, but here it is! Strombeek is the pin-up on the side of the plane: "Hotsy Totsy."
